The Kingdom has fallen. The Whisperers have razed one of the three cities, and the citizens of that city travel to Hilton to continue their lives there. Along the way, on an intense snowy day, they have to cross the border with the enemy in order to arrive safely. But they finally make it.
Then they also crossed it when Aaron had a problem. And they crossed it a third time, to put out a fire. However those who walk with the dead, under Alpha’s command, know this and send their hordes of undead into enemy territory. However Alpha does not kill anyone, nor does he attack the city directly, because he knows that his daughter Lydia is there.

By the way, Carol is sick, she sees visions and can’t sleep. She wants to wage war on her own, like a kamikaze, because she can’t live peacefully since Alpha killed Henry and will force her to see him. But Carol, who is obsessed with dying, uses dynamite to wipe out the horde, but ends up burying all the subway galleries with Connie and Magna. And they return to Hilton.
Daryl, who believes that Magna and Connie are alive, buried underground, separates from the group to rescue them. At the entrance of the cave, zombies start coming out, and he hides. Then he sees Alpha and attacks her. He manages to seriously wound her, but she defends herself and makes a serious wound in her side.
Both are about to die, until Lydia rescues Daryl and says goodbye to her mother, assuring her that with them she has found everything she would have wanted with her…. Alpha, wounded in her pride, orders to attack all the whisperers with the horde of undead.

Meanwhile Michonne travels by boat to some islands two hours away, along with a man they captured while on an expedition. They sail to Bloodsworth Island. They go to an island where there is supposed to be weaponry with which to defeat the zombie hordes and the army of men disguised as the undead. But in reality she has been deceived.
The man lost his family and went crazy, capturing his friends and now Michonne. He drugs her and sees an alternate reality, where she has joined Negan and is killed by Rick. Then she manages to escape and looking for the weaponry, discovers a cell phone with pictures of Rick pining for her and her daughter. She thinks he is alive. She embarks on the journey in his footsteps, following the clues she finds.
Negan kills Alpha in season 10 of The Walking Dead
In the attack of the whisperers, Hilton falls. We see a spectacular battle, where the zombies conquer the city with the help of stones and fire fired from a distance. The citizens scatter and flee towards Alexandria. After the fall of the Kingdom and Hilton, Alejandría is the last refuge of the survivors.
But in the chaos of the battle, Negan captures Lydia. It was just a ploy to give Alpha his daughter alone, as the whisperers still believed Lydia was dead. However it was a trap, because it is revealed that Negan had made a deal with Carol, in which he trades her acceptance of his own for Alpha’s head. He keeps his end of the bargain, but Carol refuses to keep her end of it, because she is broken inside and wants to be alone. Daryl finds him and, although he hesitates at first, he ends up accepting the deal he had made and they return to Alejandría.
The final battle against the whisperers
Maggie appears with a new group, to help them in the battle against the whisperers. Although Alpha has fallen, Beta has gathered the zombie army and continues, thirsting for revenge. The group mingles among the dead, disguised in blood and gore, and began to hunt down the whisperers. Thus they managed to get close to Beta and hunt him down. Once the zombie commanders were defeated, the large group was led to a ravine and dropped.
