Alma’s dark desire in Season 1
Alma (Maite Perroni) is a university professor, happily married to a judge. However, she suspects that her husband is unfaithful. So she decides to go out partying with her best friend to let off steam. On that crazy night, she ends up sleeping with Dario (Alejandro Speitzer), a young man much younger than her. She thought she would never see him again, but he shows up in her class as a student. She has to attend to. So she keeps seeing him on the sly, in a relationship that is forbidden by all accounts: infidelity, age difference and teacher-student relationship. It finally ends up in a toxic relationship.
Brenda’s suicide
Alma’s best friend, Brenda (María Fernanda Yepes), commits suicide under strange circumstances. She is found bleeding to death in her bathtub, with her wrists slashed. Everything seems to indicate that she has committed suicide, but there are irregular signs. For example, both Leonardo (Jorge Poza) and Esteban (Erik Hayser), Alma’s husband, went to see Brenda just before she committed suicide. Both brothers coincided as lovers. Proof of this is Esteban’s limp, the result of a gunshot wound by his brother Estaban. In addition, the investigation was immediately closed and the deceased was sleeping with Dario (Alejandro Speitzer), Esteban’s brother, and with Leonardo himself. Therefore, Alma’s husband was indeed being unfaithful.
Dario’s involvement in the case
When Alma confesses to her brother-in-law that she was being unfaithful to her husband, he goes crazy. Not only but he reopens Brenda’s case, finding a motive for Dario. Her father was unjustly imprisoned by Leonardo and subsequently committed suicide in jail. Alma breaks off her affair with Dario. They see clear indications that the latter wanted revenge on the judge who broke up their family. To all this must be added that the boy starts dating his daughter Zoe (Regina Pavón) and is about to be hired in Leonardo’s law firm. But Esteban beats him up in a place where he smelled dead and forces him to leave the Solares family alone, threatened with death.
Brenda’s involvement with Dario in Dark Desire Season 1
The target of Dario’s revenge was not Estaban, it was actually Brenda, who was the woman who unjustly accused his father of the murder of a little girl. That is why Dario went to see her the night she died, stirring up old secrets from the past that they thought were buried. However, he fell in love with Brenda and the plan failed. For Esteban committed irregularities to blame Dario’s father, who ended up committing suicide in jail. The police investigation of this case followed the steps of Darío, then Leonardo, who ended up in the hospital very sick because of this situation and when he found out about his wife’s infidelity, and finally Esteban. But the reality was much simpler. She was in love with Leonardo… but she could not be reciprocated.
Dario’s inheritance
The end of Dark Desire, at least of its first season, because it continues, refers to Darío’s multimillionaire inheritance. Esteban wanted that money, he also wanted to destroy his brother and for Alma, with whom he was in love. That’s why he was so angry to learn that Alma was sleeping with Dario. When the young man discovers his inheritance, he goes to the factory he inherited. There he finds that nauseating smell he felt when Esteban beat him up. Among the documents he discovered Esteban’s intentions. The corpse belonged to his godfather, who was implicated in the case of Darío’s father and had betrayed him. At that moment Estaban arrives, ready to burn the factory and eliminate all the evidence that incriminates him. The two confront each other, everything burns? and the police arrive…
The confrontation between Esteban and Alma
Alma arrives home devastated by Dario’s death. Despite everything the boy, who approached her out of revenge, has done to her, she still has feelings for him. When she arrives home, there she finds Esteban. She reveals the whole truth to him. Then he is about to kill her, but at that moment Leonardo arrives and saves her. Alma, to save Leonardo who was fighting with her brother, shoots him in the leg. This is justice, since Leonardo left his brother lame before. The police arrive and everything ends. However, Esteban is released from prison shortly after he enters. Just because from above they decide to free him.
The agreement between Esteban and Dario in the ending of Dark Desire Season 1
We talk about the ending of Dark Desire: Season 1 Summary, the last plot twist. Darío and Esteban worked together since the beginning of the series. Esteban offered Dario 50 thousand euros in exchange for following orders, since they had common goals. But at the end comes the last twist, when Esteban is going to give him the money. Dario gives it back to him, claiming that from now on he will be the boss. From this moment on, Esteban will continue to be the villain, since he has not gotten the inheritance and his mask has fallen off. On the other hand, Darío will remain close by, in the shadows.
