Poor devils who play the game of death
It all starts when a young man who gets along badly with everyone, has debts and spends all his money on gambling, receives a peculiar visit. A uniformed man offers him money in exchange for beating him up. He agrees and wins money. He then hands him a card to participate in the squid game. Finally he calls and decides to enter the game. He is picked up by a van with other unfortunates, is gassed unconscious and taken to an island far from civilization.
He arrives at a complex where soldiers dressed in red, hoods and strange symbols on their heads direct them. There he meets a series of characters, each one more charismatic, who will accompany him in a series of games with three rules: you must always play, those who do not play will be eliminated and everything ends if the majority wants it to end. But the majority agrees to play. The prize is a lot of money, so much that they could not spend even in 100 lives.

First game in The Squid Game Series: Green light, red light
The first game is known in Spain as “Pollito inglés a la pared” or “Pelo pelito”. The players must stand still while the remaining player watches and can move when she is not watching. When she turns around again, if she sees someone moving, she eliminates him. What happens is that here, the one who is eliminated is killed. On the wall there are a lot of holes with rifles, which shoot the losers. Half of them survive.
Cutting out sweet cookies
The second game consists of Christmas or Easter cookies, which must be cut out well. Whoever breaks the sugar figure will be eliminated. Sweat will run through the body of the participants, cutting out a mold of figures. Some used a lighter, others used sweat, saliva…
Killing eliminates players
In the evening there was a murder. Then one less player was counted and money was added to the pot. When they turned off the lights went out and many tried to kill each other.
Pull the rope
The players, in groups of 10, pulled on a rope where they were chained, until one group pulled the other and won. Those who lose, fall into the void and die. The protagonists were in danger of losing, because they had many women in the group and the old man. But the old man gave them a strategy to play better and win. In the end, when it seemed they were going to lose, they took several steps forward to unbalance the rival team and then pushed back, winning.
The marbles
The fifth game is about playing marbles, although there are several ways to do it. Each player has a number of marbles and the winner is the one who has his and the opponent’s marbles in possession, since they are played in pairs. The protagonist plays with the old man, and cheats him to win. The old man realizes this and tells him so, but forgives him and gives him his marbles.
The crystals
There is a road in the heights with two types of glass to cross it: a fragile one that would not withstand the weight of a human and a more rigid one that would withstand the weight of two humans. In this game finally only 3 players pass, but the girl ends up seriously injured. Then the protagonist’s friend ends up killing her, since he knows that she is an obstacle for him to win in the end.
The squid game
The seventh and last game is the one that gives the series its name. The protagonist and his friend must play this game, the most physical game they played as children. But killing also counts for winning. So the two friends end up fighting. They fight to the death, on a rainy day, with the rich masked men watching each other. The protagonist is going to win, but decides to surrender so that they both survive, but eventually his friend ends up committing suicide. Finally the protagonist wins.
The policeman and the missing brother in The Squid Game Series
Halfway through the games the players decided not to continue playing. But upon returning to their miserable lives they decided they had to keep playing. And back they go. A policeman who was looking for his brother sneaks in, kills a soldier and impersonates him, to gain access to the compound.
They catch him and before killing him, the boss, the one in the black mask reveals his identity: his brother. One of the former players of the death games, who had won and who had returned as one of those responsible. And the cop dies (or so it seems, because his corpse is not seen).
Summary and ending of The Squid Game Series: One year later
The protagonist does not want to spend the money he has earned from the death games. He feels bad about it. He is depressed. But he receives an invitation to meet the organizer of the games. He goes and sees the old man, who plays for fun, to have fun again. The old man ends up dying, because he really has a tumor.
Then the protagonist takes out the money and tries to help the people he had promised to help, the relatives of the comrades who died in the games. But then he discovers that the games are going to be repeated again and decides to agree to them, to take revenge. And so ends our summary and ending of The Squid Game series.
